NEW ORLEANS — A new jewelry destination is coming to Royal Street with deep New Orleans roots and a fresh point of view.
Mackenzie Parker, a new jewelry boutique founded by designer and curator Mary Parker Whisnant, will open in the historic French Quarter in October. Located at 503 Royal Street, Mackenzie Parker shares a building with its parent company, Wellington & Co. Fine Jewelry.
Created for a new generation of jewelry lovers, Mackenzie Parker will offer a carefully curated mix of original designs and jewelry from sought-after designers and artisans, with pieces chosen to be worn, layered, collected and enjoyed.
Jewelry For The Life You’re Living.
Meet Mary Parker
A Fourth Generation on Royal Street
For Mary Parker, Mackenzie Parker represents both something new and a continuation of a family story. She is the fourth generation of her family to have a retail presence in New Orleans’ French Quarter and grew up surrounded by the jewelry, antiques and the historic architecture of Royal Street.
"I want Mackenzie Parker to feel beautiful and special, but also young, fun and approachable."
Jewelry doesn’t have to be reserved for a major occasion. It can be something you wear simply because you love it, because it feels like you, or because it reminds you of a particular moment in your life.

A Mother-Daughter Venture
Experience Meets a Fresh Perpective
Mackenzie Parker is being launched by Mary Parker alongside her mother, Brandy Whisnant, co-owner of Wellington & Co. Fine Jewelry. The mother-daughter venture brings together Brandy’s decades of experience in the jewelry industry with Mary Parker’s eye for emerging designers, fashion and a more contemporary way of wearing jewelry.
A Boutique Experience
Where History Meets a Modern Perspective
The boutique itself reflects that combination of old and new. The open and inviting space pairs the architectural character of the French Quarter with a polished, modern aesthetic.

A Family Story, A New Chapter
While Mackenzie Parker shares a family connection with Wellington & Co., it has been created as its own brand with its own personality.
Wellington & Co. has long been known for antique, estate and contemporary fine jewelry, rare gemstones, diamonds and timepieces. Mackenzie Parker introduces a younger concept: more fashion-driven, more accessible and designed around the way women are wearing and buying jewelry today.
"We embrace the history of our family on Royal Street, but Mackenzie Parker is really about what comes next."
Watching Mary Parker create something that is completely her own while continuing our family’s connection to the French Quarter makes this incredibly special for us.

A New Chapter For A Lasting Legacy
With its combination of New Orleans heritage, contemporary style and an emerging designer’s perspective, Mackenzie Parker marks a new chapter for a family that has spent generations doing business in the French Quarter.
And this time, the next generation is writing the story.
